Network Engineer, Mid<br /> Key Role:<br />Leverage expertise in network engineering to design, configure, test, and deploy network solutions in DoD environments. Install and validate LAN/WAN solutions in accordance with networking best practices. Implement firewall solutions, set up and evaluate the utility of VPN products, design network architectures in accordance with applicable DoD security requirements, and document the network with the appropriate technical diagrams and artifacts. Leverage expertise in the implementation of layer 3 routing protocols and layer 2 switching. Work on implementing a client's commercial solutions for classified (CSfC) capability packages (CP). <br /><br />Basic Qualifications: <br /> -Experience with Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls, including ASA, ISR and Catalyst platforms <br /> -Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPSec VPNs <br /> -Experience in analyzing network traffic with Wireshark or TCPDump <br /> -Knowledge of routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF <br /> -Knowledge of VLAN design schemes for network separation <br /> -Ability to depict network diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio <br /> -Active Secret clearance <br /><br />-HS diploma or GED required <br /><br />Additional Qualifications: <br /> -Knowledge of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) capability packages <br /> -Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently <br /> -Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients <br /><br />-BA or BS degree <br /> – CCNA or JNCIA Certification <br /><br />Clearance: <br /> Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. <br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change. <br /><br />NBP
