If you want to make a difference in someone's life every day, consider a position with a team of professionals who are doing just that, making a difference. <br /><br />The Language Access Services Manager: <br />Manages daily operations of the SGMC Language Access Services Department to achieve strategic, operational and financial goals <br />Enforces compliance with language access policies and regulations, support interpreter standards of practice, and identify new technologies and certifications to enhance department's offerings<br />Recommends and implements policies and procedures for LASD internally and promote language access services across the organization<br />Collaborates with the Center for Health Equity & Wellness to serve as a cultural and linguistic resource for hospital staff and patients <br />Implement improvement projects and initiatives<br />Interprets for patients and families, as needed/if able<br /><br />Qualified Candidates will possess: <br />Bachelor's degree in public health, business administration, or a related academic area<br />Two years of managerial experience in language access services or similar program<br />Experience in healthcare settings (preferred)<br />Budget management experience (preferred)<br />Fluency in other foreign languages like Spanish, Mandarin, etc. (preferred)<br />Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br />Ability to give feedback in a professional manner<br />Flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels<br /><br />Work Schedule:<br /><br />Day shift<br /><br /><b>At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
