Only an email from NASA confirms a successful application.<br /> Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>The incumbent serves as the principal operating official for the Directorate on all matters related to human capital and infrastructure policies, administrative processes and implementation strategies.</li> <li>Assists the Director of with the overall planning, organization, coordination and conduct of related Directorate activities.</li> <li>Develops Directorate policies and plans related to the acquisition, development, and sustainment of human capital, physical assets, and financial resources including assessment of engineering contracts and potential impacts to engineering operations.</li> <li>Assesses adequacy of the human resources, physical assets and resource management capabilities, and develops and executes implementation strategies, plans and processes to enable the organization to meet its current and future responsibilities.</li> <li>Develops and manages an integrated program for budget and finances, manpower, and physical assets management. Demonstrated ability and vision to strategically manage full range of operations including but not limited to technical capabilities, facilities, infrastructure, staffing, resources, and environmental compliance for a large engineering organization driven by a changing environment.<br /><br />2. Demonstrated ability to provide technical and program management of a highly technical organization, including program and project planning; development, analysis, and forecasting; and analysis and management of program and project resources, objectives, and schedules.<br /><br />3. Demonstrated ability to provide contract portfolio management and oversight of multiple engineering support service contracts responsible for multifunctional activities ranging from facility operations to flight hardware development throughout the full project life cycle within a large and complex engineering organization. <br /><br /><b>Education</b><br /><br />There are no education requirements for this position.<br /><br /><b>Additional information</b><br /><br />Any applicant tentatively selected for this position may be required to undergo a pre-employment background investigation.
