Cyber Systems Administrator<br /><b>The Challenge</b>:<br /><br />Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting Cyber training as a member of a Joint team? We're looking for a systems administrator with expertise in the management of Windows Server 2010, Windows 2016, and Cisco networking environments to help us provide realistic Cyber training environments. Your job will be to manage the health and welfare of complex Cyber environments and providing necessary client support to various training audiences.<br /><br />As a systems administrator on our project, you'll support client staff in ensuring environments remain vibrant and available at all times. You'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in maintaining multiple Virtual Private Networking (VPN) environments and using the latest in Cisco Networking techniques while simultaneously maintaining currency of the supporting management systems. We focus on growing as a team, so we'll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve Cyber training across the force.<br /><br />Your primary role will be to e stablish network information requirements in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure, including CAN and WAN. Design architecture, including the software, hardware, and communications needed to support total requirements and provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Evaluate and network usage problems analytically and systematically and develop appropriate corrective actions. Maintain responsibility for scheduling and conducting pre-site survey and site surveys, recommending alternative approaches to meet event scheduling requirements using existing resources, analyzing the development of installation and removal analysis plans for each government site, providing initial network diagrams, updating network diagrams throughout the installation process, coordinating all shipments of the hardware and necessary communications security (COMSEC) material to user sites, installing and removing Service Delivery Point (SDP) networks, and conducting post-installation functional tests. <br /><br />Empower change with us.<br /><br /><b>Build Your Career:</b><br /><br />When you join Booz Allen, you'll have the opportunity to connect with other specialists doing similar work across multiple markets.
