Examples of qualifying experience include the following types ·of tasks performed on a <b>regular and recurring basis: O</b>verseeing, reviewing analyzing, and evaluating grants applications, plans, estimates (e.g., development to the Notice of Funding Opportunities to Award, etc.); Interpreting policy or guidance for applying grants administration policy, procedures, techniques and methods; Reviewing grants and/or cooperative agreements to ensure compliance with statutes, regulations, and agency policies; Developing and providing training, related to grants, to a variety of internal and external audiences. <br /><br /><strong>In order to qualify for this GS-13 Grants Management Specialist position, </strong>your resume must <b>clearly </b>demonstrate that you have one full year of specialized experience <b>comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-12 </b>level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types ·of tasks performed on a <b>regular and recurring basis:</b> Administering and providing technical assistance and guidance in the administration of grant programs; Assessing the effectiveness of the administration of grants and cooperative agreements; Researching and providing guidance on grant program policies and procedures; Assisting in the formulation of new and modified grants management policies and procedures. <br /><br /><strong>Experience</strong> refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; community; student; social).
