However, walking, carrying, stooping, bending, and reaching are required to carry out the inventory and consignment management, receiving, bar-coding, stocking and issue to replace the many stock assigned locations including warehouse locations. The activities include physical inspection of merchandise received on the loading dock area, movement of palletized cartons; operation of common material handling equipment (pallet jack, carts, etc); unpacking of outer shipping containers; identifying with removal of packing slips and identifying with bar-code labeling and stocking at temporary and final stock location destination.
