Strategic Communications Consultant<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Prepare publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal or external audiences. Work with senior team members and the client to monitor congressional actions and draft direct communication, when necessary. Lead research efforts to prepare client documents and work with senior team member to finalize. Support the public affairs lead with research and document drafting tasks.<br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-Experience with basic Microsoft Office suite<br /><br />-Experience in the energy industry<br /><br />-Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines<br /><br />-Ability to pay strict attention to detail<br /><br />-Ability to edit and perform quality control of reports, presentations, directives, correspondence, and other documents<br /><br />-BA or BS degree in Communications, Marketing, or Political Science<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-Experience with legislative or trade associations<br /><br />-Experience in a consulting environment<br /><br />-Knowledge of legislative affairs<br /><br />-Ability to display a proactive and outgoing personality<br /><br />-Ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability and work in a collaborative team environment<br /><br />-Possession of excellent client service skills<br /><br />-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.
