<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />See below for important information regarding this job.<br /> Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>If selected at the GS-12 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity.</li> <li>Coordinates the program and budget guidance from external authorities, as well as across the enterprise to create DLA?s enterprise budget guidance.</li> <li>Communicates the enterprise's budget guidance to assigned Program Managers for adherence in their respective budget proposals.</li> <li>Monitors actual performance against the target to identify the actual-to-plan variances. Once obtained, you must maintain and improve proficiency.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br />To qualify for a Financial Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:<br /><br />Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: <ul> <li>GS-13: Coordinating technical and financial management studies, analysis, and research to develop alternative courses of action addressing financial execution concerns; Utilizing accounting and fund control systems to analyze the financial posture and performance of one or more assigned programs; Performing studies and analysis within an integrated financial and management system, Developing and documenting financial processes in support of audit requirements, Reporting results to management. </li> <li>GS-12: Developing and documenting enterprise process solutions in support of audit requirements; ensuring process management metrics are within tolerance and processes remain auditable; serving as functional expert facilitating the end-to-end business cycle design.
