Energy Project Manager, Senior<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Lead the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams supporting project identification, evaluation, and development. Review te chn ical details, financial analysis, and other reports or information to guide project development and recommendations. Leverage expertise related to the utility ind us try, energy te chn ology, markets, finance, and approaches to DoD energy projects in consideration of program goals and policies. Advise DoD clients on their project development process, strategic engagements with ind us try, and other program level activities that promote the program's successful engagement with the ind us try. This position requires travel up to 25% of the time.<br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-5+ years of experience in the energy ind us try, including conducting te chn ical development of large-scale energy generation projects and conservation measures<br /><br />-5+ years of experience in project management, including managing complex projects with te chn ical, b us iness, policy , and operational considerations<br /><br />-Experience with planning or implementing energy contracts, real estate instruments, or other acquisition mechanisms and planning associated workstreams, meetings, and executive engagements<br /><br />-Experience with managing multi-disciplinary teams and parallel project development workstreams and activities <br /><br />-Ability to navigate complex te chn ical concepts, market structures, and stakeholder equities to recommend clear paths for project execution to clients<br /><br />-Ability to manage complex data and economic analysis and present findings to a variety of te chn ical and senior audiences in a clear, comprehensive manner<br /><br />-Ability to support US travel up to 25% of the time<br /><br />-Ability to obtain a security clearance<br /><br />-BA or BS degree<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-Experience in working with DoD installations on energy-related te chn ology, financial, and government contracting issues <br /><br />-Experience with federal project management<br /><br />-Experience with military clients preferred<br /><br />-Experience with meeting and workshop planning preferred<br /><br />-Knowledge of energy te chn ologies, including energy efficiency measures, renewable energy, resilient energy architectures, or traditional energy generation<br /><br />-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting complex energy data to non-te chn ical senior audiences<br /><br />-Possession of excellent presentation skills<br /><br />-Secret clearance preferred<br /><br />-MA or MS degree preferred<br /><br />Clearance: <br /><br />Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.
