This role will focus on Service Tools in the Service Management Platform Suite (ServiceNow, RightAnswers, Others). ITSM, ITOM, ITBM suite, PA and HR Service Delivery environment where you will:
Works as a ServiceNow admin and developer in the ServiceNow DevOps Team (focus on Application Development )
Work with Service Now Steady state support team (working in Dev-Ops mode)
Support on project initiatives therefore being part of Agile Scrum teams
Manage key stakeholders (business users, application service managers, suppliers etc.) as per the requirement.
Assist in the definition of business requirements, scope, estimate work effort and determine duration of configuration activities
Be a gatekeeper for customizing and ensure only approved (by governance body) customizing requests will be implemented
Scripting, Automation, Applicaton Development, Data Migration, Configurations, Customizations, Scheduled Jobs, Plugins, integrations, Reporting and PA, Portal development, SLA,
Diagnose and isolate system (Service Now) related incidents through testing and work to develop workarounds and/or fixes for system related issues. Ability to document reproduction steps and generates defect reports.
Provides daily support of Service Now including scripting, configuration, integration and administration
Collecting requirements, supporting implementation plans, to coding and execution of those plans.
Administer Scrum/SDLC module in Service Now explicitly for the development of Service Now.
Incident, Change and Engancement management of the Syngenta ServiceNow platform
Transform functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
Develop test cases for functional and regression testing.
Create and maintain API and data integration processes between Service Now and other services.
Generate operational reports and KPI analysis as needed
Recognize and report issues before they adversely impact the project schedule.
Create process documentation for team and provides internal training to Service Now admins and developers.
Create and maintain user system procedures with user training wherever required.
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or “on-call” support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
4-5 years work experience as Service Now Admin and/or Developer
Advanced in ServiceNow Platform, ITSM and ITOM suite
Proficient in ServiceNow BM (PPM) suite
Experience in more than one Service Now implementation
Experience in working using agile (Scrum) methodology (Experience as a Scrum team member)
Having a good understanding of customizing versus configuration on the Service Now platform
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle
Advanced in Service Now Scripting
Experience writing or debugging OO code (Java preferred, other relevant technologies ok)
Proficient understanding of CMDB configuration
Proficient Experience with web services via APIs
Proficient Experience with Single Sign-on implementations
Basic working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP
ITIL knowledge (ITIL certification)
Service Now Admin certification
Proficient in ServiceNow Performance Analytics
Passion for learning and rapid iteration
Ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions
Experience of handling Bug Fixes and Enhancement requests.
