<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />This position is located in the Overseas Training Branch, Training Program Management Division, Foreign Affairs Security Training Center, Directorate of Training, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, in Dunn Loring, VA. The incumbent serves as a course manager and instructor in the Overseas Training Branch responsible for presenting various training courses covering a broad spectrum of subjects pertaining to the operation of security programs overseas.<br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>Plans, organizes and manages the presentation of major courses within the Overseas Training Branch training curriculum for overseas and domestic security programs. Assigns training classes to instructors and evaluates instructor training.</li> <li>Leads comprehensive reviews of training courses and programs, evaluates the impact of planned or projected changes in overseas security program associated training requirements on existing course content and revisions to course design. </li> <li>Serves as an instructor for security courses. Reviews all lesson plans and instructional methods, organizes training materials and visual aids, conducts training and practical exercises.</li> <li>Participates in the planning, design and development of new security training courses approved by the curriculum committee.
