Technical Network Administrator / Charlotte, NC / Contract-To-Hire
Ongoing configuration and support of the organization’s network infrastructure that powers the wired, wireless, and VoIP needs
Administrating, configuring, and maintaining enterprise level networks to support data communications.
Understand the goals/objectives of that team and how it supports those
Manage LAN and WLAN network infrastructure to achieve target uptime and reliability of 99.99%.
Monitor, analyze, and shape LAN and Wireless network traffic.
Monitor security threats and deploy appropriate security measures in accordance with change management process.
Develop and maintain network documentation in accordance with defined STG I&O standards within 3 business days of any approved changes.
Provide level 1 & Level 2 technical support for enterprise systems.
Cisco Catalyst, Nexus and Meraki network management.
Firewall configuration and management, Cisco ASA and FirePower NGFW.
SD-WAN technologies including Meraki.
Network principals including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, DNS, and NAT.
Understanding of general security concepts and protocols such as IPSec, SSL/TLS, IDS/IPS, WAF and DDoS protection.
Network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds.
VoIP communications and unified communications management experience.
Familiarly with cloud and hybrid cloud networks.
Bachelor s degree in computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Cisco or equivalent network certification (CCENT; CCNA; CompTIA Network +) preferred.
