SQL Database Administrator, Mid<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Maintain responsibility for implementing and maintaining development, test, and production databases. Analyze the implementation of procedures to control data security, integrity, and performance. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments. Maintain responsibility for resolving data and data access issues, engaging with the development team to support new development, and providing recommendations for optional solutions.<br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-3+ years of experience with performing as a DBA for SQL servers, including performing installations and scheduling and managing maintenance activities, such as backup, recovery, and tuning <br /><br />-Experience with troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance, blocking and deadlocking, replication, log shipping, connectivity, and security issues <br /><br />-Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and monitoring and troubleshooting tools, including Performance Monitor and SQL Profiler <br /><br />-Knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, and patching and how statistics work, how they are stored, and how they can be created and managed effectively <br /><br />-Knowledge of SQL server tools, including Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SAC, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, and system sprocs <br /><br />-Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and best practices for schemas and ETIs <br /><br />-Ability to detect and troubleshoot resource contentions, including SQL Server CPU, memory, I/O, and disk space <br /><br />-Top Secret clearance <br /><br />-HS diploma or GED <br /><br />Clearance:<br />Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change. <br /><br />#LI-AH1, APC4, CJ1, WP1
