<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />Business Operations Center (BOC) provides leadership, policy development, guidance, technical advice and training for a wide-range of administrative support services in support of Department of Labor programs.<br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br />As the Director, Business Operations Center, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the development of, and providing management direction to a wide range of administrative support and service programs.<br /><br />Establishes department-wide policy and procedures, long range plans, execution strategies, and evaluates each of the programs. DOL-wide program responsibility is assigned in the areas of facilities and real property management, energy management, space allocation and control, transportation, records management, safety and health, printing and reproduction.<br /><br />Plans, directs, and coordinates the delivery of centralized services to designated client organizations. Building Coalitions: This core qualification involves the ability to build coalitions internally and with other Federal agencies, State and local governments, nonprofit and private sector organizations, foreign governments, or international organizations to achieve common goals.<br /><br />MANDATORY TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (MTQs): In writing your narrative responses to the MTQs, please give examples and explain how often you used your skills, the complexity of the knowledge possessed, the level of people you interacted with, and the sensitivity of the issues you handled, etc. <br /><br />1. Demonstrated experience developing policy, ensuring performance/accountability, and enhancing the customer service experience for a diverse group of programs and organizations.<br /><br />2. Demonstrated executive experience formulating organization-wide strategic direction for enterprise-wide projects and programs.<br /><br />3.
