Plans and coordinates all phases of the acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT assets.</li> <li>Represents the organization at conferences and meetings and presents briefings. For more information please click here .<br /><br /><strong>SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: </strong> Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes working with a wide range of IT principles, concepts, methods, advancements, policies, design, development, testing and applications, both hardware and software sufficient to assess the organization's IT business requirements and convince management toward a specific course of action. Working with policy and planning formulation process along with its missions, goals, and objectives to prepare IT policies and plans. Working with acquisition requirements, budgetary techniques, and financial status sufficient to identify needs and recommend adjustment of IT funding priorities.<br /><br /><strong>AND IT-RELATED EXPERIENCE:</strong> Which demonstrates the (four) required competencies – Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.<br /><br /><strong>FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:</strong> Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.<br /><br /><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): </strong>Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: <li>Knowledge of a wide range of IT principles, concepts, and methods. Skill in program and project management.</li> <li>Knowledge of the organization's policy and planning formulation process along wlth its missions and objectives to prepare IT polices and plans. Skills in oral and written comunmications to formulate command positions and prepare written reports, instructions, policy, or present briefings. </li> <li>Knowledge of budgetary processes, cost-benefit analysis methods, and analysis of performance data to prepare persuasive budget recormnendations in support of IT requirements. </li> <li>Knowledge of system architecture, integration techniques, ond testing methods. Ability to maintain an up-too-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements. </li> <li>Knowledge of IT systems security risks, and certification and accreditation processes.</li> <li>Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, review/revise/develop policy, initiate plans for enhancements, and provide management sufficient technical and cost analysis information, through written documentation and oral briefings, to rendor informational judgements.</li> <strong>PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: </strong>Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
