<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />As a Data Management Analyst, you will serves as an expert on the development of the data definition, structure, analysis, integration, quality, security and data management, and database administration support for the Office of Fleet Management's data.<br /><br />This position is located in GSA's Federal Acquisition Service, Office of Travel, Transportation and Logistics. 1800 F. Street NW Washington DC <br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><strong>We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled from this announcement as needed for other GSA organizations.</strong><br /><br />As a Data Management Analyst, you will be responsible for the following duties:<br /> <ul> <li>Works with business line management, CIO Staff, and data experts in GSA, customer agencies, and vendor partners to prioritize business information needs and develop/maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models for the business line. </li> <li>Manages business line efforts to develop and implement data collection systems, databases, data analytic capabilities, data governance and strategies that optimize data quality. </li> <li>Provides data and data management tools necessary for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets</li> <li>Works with Data Architects, Product Owners, Product Managers, Business Specialists, Project Managers, the Technical Architect, Database Administrators, and Database Development Engineers to create and maintain the overall Data and Information Management architecture, priorities, roadmap, success measures, and data governance process for GSA Fleet.</li> <li>Conveys findings to management through the creation and presentation of professional documents, such as Executive Dashboards, PowerPoint Presentations, and White Papers. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. <br /><br />To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. <br /><br />Specialized experience is defined as experience in leading a project which includes one of the following: maintaining a data architecture, development or maintaining a complex database, implementing or managing a data governance structure, gathering and interpreting data patterns and trends for business improvements or implementing improvements of data quality.<br /><br /><b>Education</b><br /><br />Note: If you are using foreign education to meet qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education.
