Cloud Engineer, Mid<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Support the operations of the firm's Cloud environments as a member of a high-impact Cloud operations team. Design and implement technical solutions for the firm's strategic Cloud initiatives and partner with project teams to develop governance-compliant solutions for product delivery. Review and analyze industry Cloud standards for the firm's adoption and compliance, conduct Cloud computing technology research, evaluation, and tradeoff analysis, and evaluate vendor platforms and tools for implementation. Exercise technical, consulting, and presentation skills to support engineering efforts and working with customers. <br /><br />The Cloud operations team is responsible for the development of technical controls and automated enforcement of firm Cloud governance principles, automating account life cycles, and providing technical guidance and best practices for teams working within firm established standards. <br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure<br /><br />-Experience with designing, deploying, and operating workloads in Azure or AWS<br /><br />-Knowledge of IT security at the Security+ level<br /><br />-Ability to be a self-motivated, continuous learner with expertise in the Cloud<br /><br />-Ability to follow established systems engineering and software development principles adopted by the firm and the team in day to day operations<br /><br />-HS diploma or GED<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-Ability to script and code solutions in Python or PowerShell a plus<br /><br />-AWS or Azure Architect Certification a plus<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change. <br /><br />ESG1
