As a Dairy Records Service Specialist, you will help your farms make decisions and achieve their goals (production & profit) by providing them with timely, accurate and meaningful data. You will be expected to build relationships with your existing and new farms so that you can provide guidance on maximizing the data we collect and the services we provide.
The work is physically demanding and may include significant travel, a varying schedule including early mornings, nights and occasional weekends, and working in a barn environment. Specific tasks performed include: set up/breakdown and cleaning of equipment, collecting cow data and milk samples; entering data in specialized programs and printing reports & invoices; monitoring data accuracy; and communicating with customers, co-workers and others in the organization.

You will be expected to set your own schedule, requiring the ability to: self-motivate and stay organized, work a varying schedule including early mornings and nights, and to have dependable transportation. You will also be expected to build relationships with farmers – your existing/assigned circuit and new farms, and to uphold Dairy One Values of Integrity, Professionalism, Commitment, Innovation, and Positivity.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
You will be provided with at least 2 weeks of paid training and an assigned mentor that will actively support you as needed. You will receive regular communication from your Market Manager to ensure you have the tools and information needed.
HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED
Your success will be measured by your ability to keep your farms on test and to bring in new business. This will be directly reflected in your compensation and the feedback we get from your farms.
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY
Being an effective and successful Dairy Records Service Specialist requires a passion for (and experience in) farming and the physical capability to do the work required. In order to apply you MUST have a High School diploma, at least one year of dairy farm experience and dependable transportation.
