Provides leadership, guidance and supervision for weapons maintenance, lifecycle material management, maintenance and logistics supporting Land and Towed Artillery.<br /><br /><strong>Essential Job Functions: </strong><br /><br />Conducts logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses, and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of Army and Marine Corps weapon systems programs. Provides recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling storage and transportation, and facilities. Provides recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost and Total Ownership Cost Management Plans.<br /><br /><strong>Required Skills: </strong><br /><br />Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.<br /><br />Must have a Secret clearance.<br /><br />At least fifteen (15) years experience in Logistics and sustainment for weapon maintenance, lifecycle material management, and maintenance and logistics management,<br /><br />Experience supporting PEOs and PMs of artillery systems and associated equipment and performing comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of ILS elements and ensuring that the maintenance of these systems is in accordance with DOD practices, statutory and regulatory standards.<br /><br /><strong>Desired Skills: </strong><br /><br />Experience with logistics and sustainment for M777A2 and M119A3 Howitzer <strong>Towed Artillery Systems</strong><strong>. </strong><br /><br />Experience in planning and program analysis for the development of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) document.<br /><br />Experience in supply chain management and sustainment strategy for Artillery Systems. <br /><br />Experience working with artillery system stakeholders (PEO Land Systems, PEO Ammunition, MARCORLOGCOM, TACOM, DLA, and Artillery Units).
