Database Administrator<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Apply expertise in databases, including operations, maintenance, and administration. Monitor and provide recommendations for improvements around database health, storage, and other critical functions, as needed. Work with operating system logs and tools, including built-in and third-party monitoring functions. Leverage expertise in structured and unstructured data, streaming and batch data processing, data ingest, and data access. Maintain responsibility for documentation, resolving database issues, engaging with the development team to support new development, and providing recommendations for optional solutions.<br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-4+ years of experience with database management<br /><br />-1+ years of experience in working with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB<br /><br />-Experience with performing database backups and maintenance<br /><br />-Experience with performing upgrades to database instances<br /><br />-Top Secret clearance<br /><br />-BS degree<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-Experience with analyzing business requirements and design specifications<br /><br />-Experience with programming in Java or C#<br /><br />-Experience with Agile software development techniques<br /><br />-BS degree in Software Engineering or a related field<br /><br />Clearance:<br />Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.
