Overview

Defense Research Analyst, Senior<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Provide analytical support for strategic planning, defense policy analysis, and wargaming to defense clients. Apply expertise in technical writing, analytical work, and client handling and lead analytic tasks to support the DoD or other government agencies, including analyzing Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS), Capability Based Assessments (CBA), and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs). Conduct thorough research and literature analyses in a variety of defense and security policy and capability development issue areas using diverse research methodologies. Develop and disseminate questionnaires and surveys to support assigned projects and assist with collecting, assessing, and analyzing data. Analyze the design, preparation, and conduct of and participate in post event analysis for classified workshops, wargames, and conferences. Write original, analytic documents and assessments based on research in specific defense consulting and security policy and capability development issue areas and use multiple analysis techniques, including facilitation of workshops. Schedule, prepare, participate in, and record interviews with key government officials and prepare and present information to senior DoD decision makers.<br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-8+ years of experience in a defense field<br /><br />-Experience iwith leading an analytic task to support DoD analysis<br /><br />-Experience with leading JCIDS analysis or CBA<br /><br />-Secret clearance<br /><br />-BA or BS degree<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-10+ years of experience in a defense-related field<br /><br />-MA or MS degree<br /><br />Clearance:<br />Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.
