Global Events Leader, Senior<br />Key Role:<br /><br />We're searching for a marketing-focused global events leader to shape client events both online and in person. The ideal candidate is a leader, a marketer, and an events producer. In this role, you will envision, imagine, and execute how Booz Allen manages its event portfolio. You will build an overall event strategy, build experiential brand activations, establish dynamic demand generation plans, and measure return on investment. You will be a leader on our Corporate Affairs team, where you'll partner with experts in marketing, media, creative, and data analytics on the portfolio. You will lead Booz Allen's largest event activations like SXSW and RSA, manage a team of events experts for broader industry events, and develop do-it-yourself tools to support Booz Allen to manage smaller events. <br /><br />Basic Qualification:<br /><br />-10 years of experience with planning high-visibility events ranging in size from intimate receptions to large-scale, multi-day conferences<br /><br />-Experience as an event project manager, owning the strategy, logistics, budget, and overall management for all assigned events<br /><br />-Experience with generating and nurturing leads through a mix of tactics and developing plans to drive and use technologies to track prospects through a demand funnel<br /><br />-Ability to operate across an organization to build relationships to work with and influence a diverse community of stakeholders at various levels of seniority<br /><br />-Ability to create event experiences with meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational expertise, to deliver measurable marketing results<br /><br />-Ability to be flexible, manage complex and fast-changing program elements, concurrent events, and prioritize effectively in response<br /><br />-BA or BS degree<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-Experience with managing budgets and developing effective return on investment metrics<br /><br />-Experience with running events for a B2B or B2G organization<br /><br />-Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment<br /><br />-Ability to multitask across multiple projects to effectively manage priorities<br /><br />-Ability to conduct the RFP process, vendor selection, and vendor management<br /><br />-Possession of excellent strategic thinking skills with an insatiable thirst for learning about and educating others on the latest event tools, processes, and best practices<br /><br />-MA, MS, or MBA degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Digital Marketing<br /><br />-Event Management, Marketing, or Digital Marketing Certification<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change. <br /><br />ESG1
