If so, a role on the Single-Family Risk Loan Product Advisor (LPA) team could be a fit for you.<br />The Program Management Manager position in the LPA group will partner with cross-functional teams to research and understand how Freddie Mac's underwriting related offerings compete with other market offerings and use information to set Freddie Mac's underwriting related offerings strategies and tactics to make our process and suite of associated technology tools the mortgage industry's preferred choice.<br /><br /><strong>Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories:<br /><br />Product Strategy Development</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Solidify product vision canvas across multiple capabilities designed to enhance our underwriting workflow in collaboration with cross-functional teams</li> <li>Develop structured prioritization (e.g., WSJF) and clear communication of business needs across multiple value streams and to portfolio stakeholders</li> <li>Build strategic product roadmaps (2-5 years) given VOC insights, operational opportunities, and technical capabilities</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Business Process Analysis</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Periodically conduct current state analysis in consultation with cross-functional teams</li> <li>Manage vendor product assessments and ongoing vendor responsiveness</li> <li>Work on complex issues where analyses of situations require understanding of diverse factors, including knowledge of Freddie Mac technology offerings, customer loan origination processes and business trends in the mortgage market</li> <li>Regularly interact with Freddie Mac executives where special skills, such as negotiating with management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization, are necessary</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Modern Delivery</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Support ARTs on achievement of SF Risk strategic theme OKRs with the goal of optimized productivity, quality, and time-to-market trade-offs</li> <li>Facilitate cross Single-Family Risk understanding and implementation of modern delivery (SAFe) practices</li> <li>Support leveraging of the appropriate Enterprise Agile Platform (EAP) to provide visibility into the Portfolio Kanban and KPIs</li> <li>Participate in Modern Delivery Business Owner focused events and meetings (e.g., demos, portfolio synch)</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br /><strong>Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>8+ years of related work experience</li> <li>2+ years people management experience</li> <li>6+ years of work experience at a GSE or in the primary mortgage market</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in business management, Computer Science, or related discipline</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to develop and execute solutions to complex issues</li> <li>2 years' experience working on an Agile project</li> <li>SAFe Certification</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Keys to Success in This Role</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to apply Lean-Agile Principles</li> <li>Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management, specifically strategy & investment funding</li> <li>Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity and the ability to resolve conflict while preserving relationships</li> <li>Knowledge of prominent / emerging industry tools that support the mortgage origination or selling process</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Top 3 Personal Competencies to Possess</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Seek and Embrace Change – Act as a change agent to influence and drive for a collaborative approach – strategically and tactically representing Credit Risk Management with new and on-going initiatives</li> <li>Drive for Execution – Be a self-starter who will own and be accountable for successful delivery of objectives</li> <li>Partnership – Effectively collaborate with and influence colleagues across the enterprise</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Preferred Skills</b><br /><br /><strong>Preferred Skills</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Advanced degree</li> <li>Knowledge of mortgage banking industry</li> <li>Current knowledge of mortgage technology services that impact originators</li> </ul> <br /><br />Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
