Our Higher Education Client is looking to add a A/V support technician to their team. This person will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills. On a daily basis, they will need to communicate with the team and outside vendors to coordinate service calls. At times, this person will need to get hands on when needed to provide additional support when setting up and installing the A/V equipment.
They will need to monitor the help desk ticket que for any A/V service requests. The ticket que has a separate bucket for A/V requests. Additionally, they will need to maintain A/V inventory and equipment for the college. They will partner heavily with the IT trainers to create learning platform videos for the end users to view in an effort to reduce tickets. This person will be responsible for traveling to 3 of the campuses located in Westchester. This person will also have the opportunity to be engaged throughout the RFP process and help with writing those out when working with external vendors.
1) 3+ years providing A/V support within the education field. They need someone familiar with classroom-based technologies.
2) 3+ years within A/V project implementation, coordination, and planning.
3) 3+ years within preparing A/V equipment for large events and coordinating service calls.
