For more information please see: AcqDemo <br /> This position is being filled under AcqDemo Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for non-acquisition positions involving 51% or more of time in direct support of acquisition positions within Business and Technical Management Professional Career path.<br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br />As a PROCUREMENT ANALYST at the GS-1102-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: <ul> <li>-Serve as a procurement technical expert for initiatives such as designing and implementing a quality assurance process for reviewing pre/post contracting files, preparing/creating/analyzing metrics for internal/external reporting and maintenance of pertinent records.</li> <li>-Identify key problem areas and recommends solutions in the performance Quality Assurance Reviews for in-process, pre-award/post award contract review functions on Acquisitions performed.</li> <li>-Present findings and develops remedial actions plans to the Chief of contracting and DMA Acquisition and Procurement Director.</li> <li>-Serve as the Government Purchase Card Agency Program Coordinator/Alternate Coordinator (A/OPC) and is an active team member of the Plans and Compliance Branch.</li> <li>-Resolve program payment, policy and other issues for the GPCP. A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees<br /><br />AND<br /><br />B. At least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. (This requirement can be obtained within the bachelor's degree or in addition to the degree).<br /><br />NOTE: The education requirements listed above apply only to individuals entering DoD 1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000. Current civilian personnel in DoD, who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000, are exempt from meeting this requirement. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: <ul> <li>-Implement a quality assurance process for reviewing contract files</li> <li>-Analyze metrics for reporting and maintenance of contracting records</li> <li>-Identify/report problem areas to make recommendations on effectiveness on the contracting process</li> <li>-Administer a Government Purchase Card Program</li> </ul> Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
