Systems Administrator, Junior<br /> Key Role: <br /><br />Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the team and field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application questions and issues. Route issues to the appropriate groups to resolve issues and provide timely and thorough follow-up of issue resolution status to end users and record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including detailed end user information, nature of problem or issue, all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken through final resolution. Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved, communicate recurring application problems and issues to team management, respond to user requests for system training coordinate with system leads to arrange the requested training, support the development of system training materials, and assist with conducting user system training in group and one-on-one settings on supported systems. Evaluate documented questions and resolutions to make recommendations for improving current help documents, including FAQs and user guides, support the system requirements definition process by analyzing recurring system issues, and recommend process and system enhancements within technology applications supported. Gather and document business and functional system requirements clearly and concisely utilizing a variety of requirements templates.
