Dietary Aide Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews diet report and note any dietary restrictions on the tickets.
Processes new diets and changes as required.
Serves all meals and snacks to patients and serves meals to guests as needed.
Participates in tray line and food temperature monitoring as assigned.
May calculate carbohydrate count for consistent-carbohydrate diets, and following standards established by Food and Nutrition Services Manager.
Communicates patient needs to appropriate staff while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Restocks supplies per par level.
Takes meal orders from patients utilizing electronic devices.
Attends all physical and food safety in-service training.
Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.
Complies with all organizational safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
Able to transport food using an electric cart to/from centralized production kitchen.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess:
High school diploma or GED
Strong customer service skills
Able to handle a multi-task environment
Basic Computer skills such as Windows and Microsoft Office
Work Schedule: Part-time hourly position.
Shifts 6:30am-3pm and 4pm-8pm.
