The Physician Liaison is responsible for promoting core and specialty services to the physician community. This position also focuses on communication, relationship management, physician retention, leakage identification, providing excellent service, and growth of referrals within Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center and the enterprise.
Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Psychology, Public Relations or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience preferred in knowledge of Medical Staff Support Services computer related software program
Ability to relate and work well with Hospital Administration, Medical Executive Committee, all physicians and their staffs at all levels; strong customer service skills
Self-motivated, strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Good judgement, extra measures of diplomacy
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information
Demonstrated leadership and initiative to develop medical staff programs as needed
Excellent PC skills
Professional dress and ability to conduct self in professional manner at all times
Knowledge of surrounding metropolitan area
