Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality therapeutic care to clients that are assigned to their specific unit/department. Assists clients in their development of self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-actualization through a multitude of traditional and adjunctive therapies while simultaneously documenting and disseminating information and reports to referral sources and coordinating with community resources to ensure aftercare and supportive services are available for successful transitioning and discharge planning. Provides direct clinical supervision services for interns on their specific units providing direct services that include evaluations and psychotherapy (individual, family, group, and parent counseling) to assigned cases.
Master's Degree in Social Work /Counseling or equivalent master's degree in a recognized health field
1-year experience preferred
LGSW/LGPC in the State of Maryland
