Job Description:
Our public affairs client seeks a Media Coordinator to join their team onsite in San Francisco in this 5-10 hr/week freelance role!

The Media Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
– Work on all things media pitching – follow up on the releases, get reporters on the phone, and more.
– Strategize how to get reporters' attention – draft pitches, track down reporters, pitch stories and follow up.

The ideal Media Coordinator should possess the following:
– 3-5 years' experience in PR/media or press relations (education background preferred) + agency an added bonus.
– Candidates need to have their own laptop + equipment with Google Docs and Word available.
